Investment Analyst

About the role

ADNOC Drilling is looking for an Investment Analyst in Abu Dhabi to support its investment activities. The role covers financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and performance monitoring of existing and potential investments, contributing analytical insights to investment decisions while aligning with ADNOC Group's investment frameworks, governance requirements and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate new investment opportunities, including joint ventures, strategic partnerships and capital projects
• Prepare financial models, valuations and investment appraisals (NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis)
• Assist in commercial and financial due diligence for potential investments and transactions
• Support investment papers, business cases and presentations for internal committees and senior management
• Monitor the financial and operational performance of existing investments and joint ventures against approved business plans
• Support periodic portfolio reviews, including risk assessment and return analysis
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for financial, operational and strategic inputs
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Group investment policies, governance processes and approval thresholds
• Maintain accurate documentation, models and records of investment decisions and approvals
• Support engagement with external advisors, consultants and financial institutions
• Comply with UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client legal, HSE and asset integrity management codes of practice

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA or an MBA are an advantage
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in investments, corporate finance, transaction advisory or valuation
• Experience in the energy, oil & gas, infrastructure or industrial sectors is preferred

Required skills

• Strong experience in financial modelling, investment appraisal and business case development
• Familiarity with governance and approval processes in large organizations or government-related entities is an advantage
