Investment Associate – UAE National

About the role

The Investment Associate supports the sector head in overseeing strategy, budgeting, risk, talent, compensation, and M&A initiatives across portfolio companies. The role helps manage investment value, drive transformation projects, and evaluate new investment opportunities within the strategic assets sector.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and optimise value creation in portfolio companies through refreshed shareholder opinions and Value Creation Plans.
• Support the Investment Manager in liaising with board and executive teams to execute value‑creation initiatives.
• Monitor asset performance, identify potential issues and provide regular analysis and reporting.
• Gather data and research to develop sector strategies, detailed sector screens and identify attractive investment opportunities.
• Originate new strategic investments in coordination with M&A, building networks with ecosystem stakeholders.
• Conduct commercial diligence and sector‑specific analysis to support deal execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business; professional certificates such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
• Valid UAE family book (UAE national requirement).
• 4–8 years of experience in consulting, investments or a related field.
• Strong financial modelling experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
