Investment Professional – Financial Services Private Equity

About the role

Our client, a leading global investment fund, is seeking an Investment Professional to join its Direct Investments team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on financial services, specifically insurance, re‑insurance and wealth management, and involves executing transactions and supporting portfolio management on a global mandate.

Key responsibilities

• Execute transactions and support ongoing portfolio management across financial services.
• Evaluate and screen new investment opportunities across multiple geographies.
• Build and develop financial models to support investment decisions.
• Contribute to investment plans and recommendations for the Investment Committee.
• Provide sector‑specific insights and actionable intelligence to shape strategy and deal execution.

Required profile

• Experience within a private equity fund or investment banking environment in European or US markets.
• Strong deal execution track record in financial services, with exposure to insurance, re‑insurance and wealth management.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Strong academic background – Bachelor’s degree from a top‑tier international university; Master’s or professional qualification (CFA, CPA, CAIA) is highly desirable.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
