About the role
TIERRIS, an innovative agricultural biotechnology company, is looking for an experienced Irrigation Design Engineer to design and optimise efficient agricultural irrigation systems in the United Arab Emirates.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimise efficient agricultural irrigation systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and pump selection.
- Develop irrigation layouts, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Evaluate irrigation technologies, filtration, and automation systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and technical teams.
- Support installation supervision, testing, and system commissioning.
Required profile
- Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant irrigation design experience.
- Strong knowledge of drip irrigation, hydraulics, pumping, and filtration systems.
- Experience with irrigation design software and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with irrigation automation and water‑efficiency technologies.
- UAE/GCC project experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent technical and problem‑solving skills.
