About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Islamic B Teacher to join GEMS World Academy‑Dubai from August 2025. The successful candidate will deliver the Islamic B curriculum to both Primary and Secondary students within our multicultural IB community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess Islamic B lessons in line with the IB philosophy and the Academy’s Learner Profile.
- Support students’ academic and personal development, fostering a love of learning.
- Collaborate with the Islamic department and other faculty to enhance the overall educational agenda.
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive, non‑selective environment and multicultural ethos.
Required profile
- Degree‑level teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Islamic Education, Bachelor of Education or equivalent).
- Minimum three years of experience teaching Islamic B at Primary and/or Secondary level.
- Strong track record of effective teaching and student success.
- Alignment with IB values and commitment to the Learner Profile.
- Passion for working in a diverse, international community.
