Islamic Finance Executive - Auto Finance (Outsource)

About the role

ADIB Group is hiring an outsourced Islamic Finance Executive for its auto-finance business in the UAE. The role sources Sahel products to a defined target segment and works closely with customers and business partners to deliver Sharia-compliant auto financing.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing Sahel products to the target segment and achieving or exceeding the assigned target
• Maintaining good relationships with businesses and individuals from whom business is sourced
• Visiting potential companies and institutions to finalise deals within the target turnaround time, following ADIB policy and procedure
• Delivering prompt service to customers and keeping abreast of product knowledge
• Preparing and reviewing credit applications, checking that documents such as bank statements, passport copies and salary certificates are authentic before sending them to DSPU
• Following the approval process and escalating delays to the Risk and Supervision Service (RSS)
• Executing Murabaha contracts on behalf of ADIB, preparing files and forwarding cards to the card centre within 24 hours of signing
• Ensuring applications are error-free, fixing errors promptly, and notifying RSS of card centre delays
• Escalating customer complaints to the supervisor and initiating cross-selling of other banking products
• Participating in line-manager assignments and maintaining smooth inter-departmental flow

Required profile

• Broad knowledge of ADIB's retail banking products and services
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and risks
• General awareness of local market competitors
