Islamic Studies Teacher – Full Time

About the role

SAIS, Umm Al Quwain, is seeking a qualified and passionate Islamic Studies Teacher B to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Islamic Studies to students, fostering a deep understanding of Islamic principles, culture, and ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Islamic Studies that align with the school curriculum.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to explore and deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings and values.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to promote a holistic educational experience.
• Participate in school events, activities, and Islamic cultural programs to enhance students learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and attendance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies.
• Teaching diploma or recognized teaching qualification.
• IELTS score of 6.5 or a minimum of 6.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Islamic Studies.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students in their learning journey.
