About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) at its Al Falah City campus in Abu Dhabi is seeking an inspiring Islamic Teacher for non‑Arab students in Cycle 1 (KG2‑Grade 2) and Cycle 2 (Grade 3‑Grade 5). The role involves delivering engaging Islamic Studies aligned with the American curriculum, fostering spiritual growth and cultural understanding among a diverse student body.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, Quranic Sciences or a related field from an accredited university, attested by UAE MOFA and equivalenced by the UAE Ministry of Education.
• Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent) and IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
• Minimum 2‑3 years full‑time experience teaching Islamic Studies to non‑Arab students, preferably within an American curriculum (Common Core/US Standards) and ideally in the UAE or GCC.
• Ability to teach across Cycle 1 (KG2‑Grade 2) and Cycle 2 (Grade 3‑Grade 5) age groups.
• Eligibility for an ADEK Teacher License and possession of a recent police clearance and medical fitness certificate as required by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge.
