Islamic Teacher – Full-Time

About the role

The Islamic Teacher will join a growing international school in Dubai, delivering engaging Islamic studies lessons to a diverse student body. The role focuses on inspiring students, fostering a safe learning environment, and contributing to the school’s community outreach and growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess creative, engaging Islamic studies lessons that meet curriculum standards.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children at all times.
• Lead CAS activities, participate in staff training and support school community initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with families about student progress and school matters.
• Maintain compliance with school policies, KHDA regulations and the ISP “Aquila Ways”.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve learning outcomes and act as a subject leader as the school expands.
• Contribute to marketing, newsletters and other community‑engagement activities to promote enrolment.

Required profile

• Credible teacher with a solid range of teaching experience in Islamic studies.
• Ability to lead lessons that are engaging, relevant and supportive of each child’s progress.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Proactive, flexible, fun‑spirit, initiative‑driven and positive attitude.
• Commitment to safeguarding, health & safety and the school’s inclusive ethos.
