Islamic Teacher

About the role

The International School of Choueifat seeks an Islamic Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum, support student achievement, and uphold the school’s educational philosophy. You will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment and helping students reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned subjects using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and apply the SABIS® point system consistently.
• Discuss disciplinary and academic concerns with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Proctor exams, ensure a well‑managed test environment, and support low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation, substitute for absent teachers, and handle administrative duties such as lunch and bus organization.
• Participate in student life activities, attend training sessions, and undertake additional tasks delegated by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated accountability, professional behavior, and ethical conduct.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills.
