IT Administrator

About the role

An IT Administrator is sought to join the team in Sharjah. The role manages and maintains the company's IT infrastructure, keeps network operations running smoothly, troubleshoots technical issues and supports end users, while helping maintain operational efficiency and cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed infrastructure.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software components.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems and fix hardware and software faults.
• Ensure the security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
• Perform regular security monitoring to detect possible intrusions.
• Maintain technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 6 months of internship experience in a similar role preferred.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware and software.
• Experience with firewalls and antivirus programs.
• Solid understanding of data backup, recovery and security protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
