IT & ERP Manager – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

NSDA, a leading tobacco manufacturer in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a hands‑on IT & ERP Manager to oversee the plant’s IT infrastructure, ERP environment and information security. The role combines technical leadership with close collaboration with finance, production, supply‑chain and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support the ERP system (finance, supply‑chain, manufacturing), ensuring stability, performance and user support across all modules.
• Manage local IT infrastructure – LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, servers, Azure cloud services, end‑user devices and factory‑floor IT components – guaranteeing high availability for production and logistics.
• Lead information‑security initiatives, enforce access controls, endpoint and network security, backup and disaster‑recovery processes, and ensure compliance with corporate and UAE regulations.
• Oversee vendor and contract management, including Microsoft Dynamics partners, infrastructure providers and specialised track‑and‑trace solution suppliers, handling negotiations, SLA monitoring and cost control.
• Act as a trusted business partner, translating requirements from finance, production, quality, supply‑chain and sales into effective IT/ERP solutions and driving continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing IT and ERP environments in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Solid understanding of information‑security best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Experience negotiating and managing external vendors and service contracts.

Required skills

• ERP platforms – MS Dynamics, SAP or Oracle.
• Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi networking and Windows Server administration.
• Backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity planning.
• Information‑security controls (access control, endpoint and network security).
