IT Executive – Network & Systems Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Executive to lead hands‑on configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of our network and system infrastructure. The role combines MacBook setup, networking hardware management and cloud server support to ensure reliable connectivity for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, performance and security issues.
• Monitor network health and ensure performance meets company standards.
• Set up and manage VLANs, subnets, IP routing and VPN connections.
• Support LAN, WAN and cloud‑based network environments.
• Configure, troubleshoot and manage database storage servers and cloud servers.
• Assist with firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPN security.
• Document configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance optimisation.
• Provide on‑site and remote support for end‑users on network‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with MacBook configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, IP routing, VPN and firewall concepts.
• Experience with server, database storage and cloud environments.
• Ability to diagnose hardware, software and network problems independently.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
