IT Manager – Enterprise Applications & Technology

About the role

We are hiring an experienced IT Manager for a leading golf, hospitality and leisure organization in Dubai. The role focuses on enterprise applications (70‑80%) while also overseeing IT infrastructure and platforms (20‑30%). The ideal candidate brings deep experience in customer‑centric environments and can operate at the intersection of business, technology, architecture and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Own and oversee enterprise and customer‑facing applications across multiple properties, including CRM, Loyalty/Membership, POS, ERP, Guest Management and back‑office platforms.
• Lead technology initiatives through the full lifecycle: RFP, requirements gathering, design, implementation, integration, UAT, go‑live and transition to operations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into functional and technical solutions.
• Manage application integrations, APIs, middleware, data flows, custom development, testing, change and release management.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, integration and IT governance standards.
• Drive standardized SDLC, DevOps, release governance and quality controls across internal teams, vendors and managed service partners.
• Provide oversight of infrastructure supporting enterprise applications, including cloud, networks, servers, storage, DR/BCP and capacity planning.
• Review and challenge technical designs from vendors, system integrators and MSPs.
• Manage vendor performance, SLAs, solution quality and transition of projects into steady‑state operations.

Required profile

• Strong experience managing enterprise/business applications in a complex, multi‑system environment.
• Hands‑on functional/technical exposure to CRM, Loyalty/Membership and POS systems.
• Background in hospitality, golf, leisure, resorts, clubs or similar guest‑centric sectors.
• Familiarity with Golf Management Systems, Property Management Systems and related platforms.
• Proven advisory and consultative capability with senior business stakeholders, architects and vendors.
• Ownership of application projects from RFP through implementation and go‑live.
• Deep understanding of APIs, integrations, middleware, SQL/data flows and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience managing MSPs, system integrators and technology vendors.
• Working knowledge of Azure or AWS, IAM/SSO/RBAC, cybersecurity, monitoring and DR/BCP.
• Experience supporting technology across multiple properties or business units.
