IT Manager – Sharjah Hotel

About the role

The IT Manager will ensure reliable hardware and seamless software across the hotel, installing new systems, enhancing security and providing the tools needed for staff to deliver first‑class service.

Key responsibilities

• Primary contact for servicing computer hardware and ensuring efficient system installations.
• Regular reporting to the General Manager, Director of Finance, Business Support and Area IT Leader.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of approved systems and technologies, from LAN to POS.
• Monitor hardware and software performance, uphold digital and physical security standards, and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Conduct knowledge‑sharing and training sessions for hotel staff.
• Protect the IT infrastructure against cyber‑threats.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational certificate in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in computer set‑up and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• LAN and POS systems.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards).
• Networking, operating systems and databases.
