IT Operations Engineer (Overseas Office Support)

About the role

This position covers the construction, operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure for an office and its covered areas, including computer rooms, structured cabling, network devices and servers. It also provides 7x24 global IT technical support for worldwide office users.

Key responsibilities

• Build, operate and maintain IT infrastructure, including computer room projects, structured cabling, and installation, commissioning and maintenance of network devices and servers
• Install and distribute office terminals such as computers and printers, and inspect and resolve daily hardware and desktop issues
• Provide 7x24 global IT technical support and be familiar with ITSM systems and ITIL-related processes
• Compile IT support technical documents, build an IT knowledge base and promote the standardization of IT services
• Summarize support issues regularly and generate reports to improve IT service quality

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in overseas office network construction and desktop support
• Fluent oral communication in the local language of the country of residence, with English or Chinese as a working language

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer networking, with familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls and server products
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP or other equivalent vendor certifications are preferred
