IT Project Manager – Arabic Speaker (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT & Software Project Manager who is fluent in Arabic to lead end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise software projects and digital platforms for government entities in Abu Dhabi. The role covers project planning, implementation, and ongoing operations, ensuring high availability and stability of critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of software and IT projects, from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, handover and operational support.
• Coordinate daily operational activities of deployed platforms, maintaining system availability, stability, issue resolution and service continuity.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, senior executives, development, infrastructure, QA, cybersecurity, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, action trackers and comprehensive documentation.
• Oversee vendor performance, contractual compliance and ensure deliverables meet technical and business standards.
• Facilitate third‑party integrations, API management, licensing and external system dependencies.
• Identify, track and resolve project risks, dependencies, blockers and escalations in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT/software project management, application management or digital transformation.
• Proven experience managing enterprise, web and mobile applications, integrations and cloud/on‑premise environments.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI‑ACP, Scrum Master or ITIL are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Project management frameworks (PMP, PRINCE2, PMI‑ACP, ITIL).
• Experience with cloud platforms – Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Hands‑on experience with APIs, databases, enterprise application integration and both cloud and on‑premise infrastructures.
