IT Project Manager

About the role

The IT Project Manager will lead the execution of the IT Project Office strategy, ensuring successful delivery of technology initiatives for Emirates Flight Catering. This role involves coordinating resources, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to drive efficient project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute IT Project Office strategies, processes, and best practices to ensure successful delivery of IT projects.
• Manage resource allocation across IT projects, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using tools such as Monday.com and Jira to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Monitor and report on project performance using metrics and KPIs, providing progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage scope changes, identify risks, and devise contingency plans.
• Lead and manage the IT project team, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and motivate members.
• Oversee integration of new or existing applications, infrastructure, and digital transformation projects, providing support and training.
• Conduct project post‑mortems and create recommendation reports.
• Manage project budgets to ensure financial constraints are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in the IT sector.
• Proven experience managing teams and resources in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMP (certification a plus).
• Proficiency with project management tools: Monday.com, Jira, MS Project.
• Technical understanding of infrastructure, software development, cloud and web technologies.
• Analytical and reporting skills.
