IT Specialist Associate

About the role

The IT Specialist Associate acts as the primary ICT point of contact for a branch in the UAE, ensuring that all technology systems operate securely, reliably and efficiently. You will work closely with Intesa Sanpaolo IT teams both locally and at the Head Office to support daily operations and drive ICT projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the branch ICT environment, guaranteeing hardware and software availability.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting and coordinate escalations with Head Office ICT departments.
• Support critical AS400 procedures, including SIRE, Safewatch and Swift Alliance.
• Assist in the planning and execution of ICT projects, including primary and disaster‑recovery sites.
• Manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans and conduct related testing.
• Control application access, enforce internal security standards and support audits.
• Deliver ICT support for business activities such as videoconferencing and telecommunications.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in an ICT support or specialist role.
• University degree in a related discipline.
• Strong command of English.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Required skills

• AS400 environment.
• SIRE, Safewatch and Swift Alliance systems.
• MS Office suite.
