IT Supervisor

About the role

The IT Supervisor will ensure timely IT support for guests and all hotel departments, maintaining 100% service availability. The role involves managing hotel systems, coordinating projects, and liaising with vendors to support the Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑house guest IT troubleshooting and proactive support to keep services at 100% availability.
• Coordinate and manage IT projects, overseeing progress and ensuring on‑time completion.
• Maintain and monitor Opera, MICROS, Windows Server 2003/2008 and Windows client operating systems.
• Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Document project progress and contribute to cost‑saving and revenue‑generating initiatives.
• Support business contingency planning and conduct regular testing.
• Supervise IT Butlers and ensure the team meets performance standards.

Required profile

• Strong computer knowledge of Opera, MICROS and MS Office applications.
• Good project management skills with a proactive, customer‑oriented attitude.
• Pleasant personality, neat appearance and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Team player with leadership and mentoring capabilities.
