IT Support Engineer

About the role

Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to join its Dubai technology team. The role involves providing on‑site and remote technical assistance, maintaining secure IT systems, and ensuring smooth business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, operating systems and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve problems through on‑site and remote assistance.
• Monitor network infrastructure, internet connectivity and system performance.
• Manage user accounts, email settings, passwords and access permissions.
• Perform software installations, updates, antivirus management and routine system maintenance.
• Conduct data backups and support disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation and service records.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, licensing and technical support.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or system administration.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft or Cisco are a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication abilities.
