IT Support Engineer

About the role

The IT Support Engineer will join NMC Healthcare’s technology team in Abu Dhabi, providing hands‑on technical assistance to end‑users across the organization. This role focuses on maintaining a reliable desktop environment, resolving user incidents, and supporting basic network connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Perform operating system installations, software deployments, upgrades and patch management.
• Provide first‑level helpdesk support via ticketing system, email, phone or in‑person, and ensure tickets are closed within SLA.
• Troubleshoot LAN/Wi‑Fi connectivity, VPN access and network printer issues.
• Conduct routine system health checks, backup and recovery tasks, and maintain IT asset inventory.
• Document technical procedures, knowledge articles and maintain detailed records of hardware warranties and vendor support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, support IT projects, office relocations and technology upgrades.
