IT Support Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused IT Support Officer to join our IT support team in the United Arab Emirates. You will provide first‑ and second‑line technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and help maintain reliable daily IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line and second‑line support via phone, email, ticketing system, or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity problems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
• Create, update, and manage support tickets and service requests.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets, permissions, and access management.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, email, collaboration tools, and common business applications.
• Perform network troubleshooting, Wi‑Fi connectivity, VPN, and basic infrastructure support.
• Execute software installations, system updates, patches, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and equipment records.
• Support employee onboarding and off‑boarding from an IT perspective.
• Document technical issues, solutions, procedures, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Assist with backup, security, antivirus, and endpoint‑management activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work independently or in a team.
