IT Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Support Specialist provides technical support and maintains the company's IT infrastructure so that computers, networks, applications and business systems run smoothly across offices, project sites and operational locations. The role suits a proactive person who can troubleshoot issues, support end users, manage IT assets and deliver reliable technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line support by phone, email and onsite, and manage support requests through a ticketing system
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues and install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices
• Maintain an asset inventory, coordinate vendor repairs and warranty claims, and deploy new devices correctly
• Assist with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity, and perform basic network monitoring
• Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID account management, and business applications such as ERP and HR systems
• Follow security policies, support antivirus and endpoint protection, and educate users on cybersecurity and phishing awareness
• Maintain IT documentation, prepare incident and asset reports, and assist with IT projects and upgrades

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
• Willingness to travel between offices and project sites; experience in landscaping, facilities management, construction or field-service is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
• Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN) and hardware troubleshooting
• Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 support
• Preferred: MS-900/AZ-900, CompTIA A+/Network+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365 Certified Associate
