IT System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join Amer Al Ghurair’s technology team in Dubai. The role will ensure the stability, security and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure, supporting both on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server platforms (2016, 2019, 2022) and manage virtualization using VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Configure and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and file services.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Azure AD and Intune.
• Oversee LAN/WAN, VPN, switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure.
• Perform server patching, backups, disaster recovery planning and system monitoring.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for infrastructure and end‑users.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection and compliance measures.
• Maintain technical documentation, reports and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in system administration, networking and IT infrastructure support.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
