IT Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to ensure our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. The role involves maintaining, upgrading, and managing software, hardware, and network components across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtual environments.
• Install and upgrade hardware, software, and virtualization platforms; manage virtual servers and automation processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, document problems and resolutions, and prioritize incidents.
• Provide technical documentation and specifications for planning and implementing infrastructure upgrades.
• Execute regular backup operations and implement data‑protection, disaster‑recovery, and failover procedures.
• Lead desktop and help‑desk support, ensuring timely resolution of workstation and application problems.
• Plan capacity, storage, and monitor database performance.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in system, network, or database administration.
• Relevant certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or networking (preferred).
• Proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategies.
