About the role
We are seeking a Jewellery Diamond Grader Manager to lead our grading team in Dubai. The role involves supervising diamond and jewellery assessment, ensuring quality and consistency.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the Jewellery & Diamond Grading team, overseeing daily operations.
- Evaluate diamonds using the 4Cs (Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat weight) to determine quality.
- Inspect and grade jewellery, gemstones, and other precious materials, verifying authenticity.
- Identify natural, treated, and laboratory‑grown diamonds accurately.
- Establish and maintain grading standards, quality benchmarks, and review grading reports.
- Handle complex or high‑value grading cases, providing technical guidance and conducting quality checks to reduce discrepancies.
- Check jewellery workmanship, finishing, stone setting and overall quality.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on grading techniques.
