Job Performer – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

The Job Performer (E&I) is responsible for supervising on‑site electrical and instrumentation activities on ADNOC onshore projects. The role ensures all work is carried out safely, within permit conditions and in compliance with ADNOC and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain, validate, suspend and close work permits in line with WMS requirements.
• Verify that all PTW, TRA/JSA, method statements, drawings and certificates are approved before work starts.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks and ensure the workforce understands scope, hazards and emergency procedures.
• Supervise installation, modification, testing and pre‑commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and ADNOC requirements.
• Coordinate daily work fronts, manpower, materials and access with the Construction Manager and Project Engineer.
• Maintain site records, report constraints and incidents, and ensure proper handover at shift changes.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI/Technical qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical or related discipline.
• Valid ADNOC WMS Certificate and prior approval as a Job Performer on ADNOC projects.
• Minimum 4 years of construction/site supervision experience in oil & gas, preferably on brownfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC WMS, PTW, TRA/JSA, TBT, SIMOPS and HSE requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, layouts, P&IDs and method statements.
