Junior Accountant – Accounts Receivable

About the role
The Junior Accountant will manage the company’s receivables, ensuring timely collection, accurate reconciliation with distributors, and close coordination with the sales team to maintain healthy cash flow.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and track outstanding receivables from distributors and key customers, posting receipts, credit notes and adjustments.
- Follow up with sales to collect overdue payments, escalate delayed accounts, and coordinate claim resolution.
- Conduct periodic reconciliation of distributor accounts, validate trade discounts, promotional claims and returns.
- Support month‑end closing by reconciling AR sub‑ledger with the general ledger and provide weekly dashboards on collections and DSO trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- 2‑5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in consumer appliances or distribution‑driven businesses.
- Strong understanding of customer reconciliation, credit control and claim management.
Required skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Advanced Excel skills.
