Junior Accountant - Real Estate

About the role

A growing finance team in Dubai is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to help build an accounting career in the real estate industry. The role covers day-to-day accounting support, from accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliations and audit documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and data entry
• Support bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare expense summaries, payment schedules and basic financial reports
• Process supplier invoices, utility bills and petty cash transactions
• Update tenant ledgers and help with rent collection and payment follow-ups
• Support WPS salary processing and commission calculations
• Assist with VAT preparation and keep proper documentation
• Coordinate with the Senior Accountant on month-end closing and prepare files and supporting documentation for audits

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• UAE real estate accounting experience is a must
• Experience in real estate or property management
• Basic understanding of UAE accounting practices
• Strong attention to detail, good organisational and communication skills, and willingness to learn

Required skills

• Familiarity with accounting software; Zoho is a plus
