Junior Architect – Airport Project

About the role

Oneworks is looking for a Junior Architect to join its Dubai office and support a high‑profile airport development project in Sharjah, UAE. You will work closely with the supervision team, ensuring that architectural construction activities on site meet design intent, specifications, and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Senior Architect within the Supervision Team.
• Oversee architectural aspects of the airport terminal expansion to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and address design‑related issues.
• Conduct site inspections of contractor works and verify compliance with approved drawings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary consulting teams to resolve technical and interface issues.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Support project documentation, coordination meetings, and progress reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on airport projects.
• Experience as a Project Supervision Architect on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and adaptability.
• Availability to mobilize at short notice.
• Experience in GCC projects is preferred.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (minimum proficiency).
