Junior Architect

About the role

HDR is seeking a Junior Architect to join its Dubai team. In this position you will apply standard architectural techniques, support project phases and contribute to design solutions under guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria, adapting them as needed.
• Perform assignments with specific objectives, investigating limited variables and following detailed instructions.
• Execute architectural tasks with direction, without immediate supervision, and assume limited design responsibility.
• Recommend procedures, write reports and specifications covering architectural matters.
• Take responsibility for phases of revenue‑producing projects and perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and registration as an Architect.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned and inclusive culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Project).
• Advanced use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related design tools.
