Junior Brand Manager

About the role

PlaceUp is looking for a proactive, commercially driven Junior Brand Manager to support the growth of a portfolio of eight international brands across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The role combines commercial execution, marketing coordination and retail operations so that brands perform consistently across distributor and retail networks. The position is full-time and on-site in Dubai, with GCC travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Support the commercial and marketing strategy for eight international brands across the UAE and KSA.
• Coordinate with internal Commercial, Marketing and Sales teams to deliver brand initiatives.
• Plan, run and monitor seasonal sales campaigns, promotions and product launches.
• Manage relationships with GCC distributors and align them with brand objectives and sales targets.
• Coordinate collection deployment, product launches and inventory allocation across retail channels.
• Monitor sell-through and recommend liquidation strategies for slow-moving stock.
• Develop sales incentive programs with distributors and commercial teams.
• Visit stores regularly to check execution, visual merchandising, stock levels and brand presentation.
• Work with retail partners to ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends and competitor activity, and prepare periodic reports with improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in brand management, trade marketing, category management or a similar commercial marketing role.
• Retail, fashion, lifestyle, FMCG or consumer brand experience highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising and distributor management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the GCC as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
