Junior Cost Accountant

About the role

Eazy Pack is a growing packaging manufacturer in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, offering cost-effective packaging solutions regionally and internationally. The Junior Cost Accountant will support the finance team in tracking production costs and preparing financial records on a full-time, on-site basis.

Key responsibilities

• Track and record daily production costs, raw materials, and overheads.
• Prepare routine journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
• Support account reconciliations and month-end closing tasks.
• Analyze basic cost variances between actual spend and budget.
• Generate cost reports and financial summaries using MS Excel.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to organize inventory and cost data.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance (fresh graduates welcome).
• Understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entries, and cost tracking.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and general computer literacy.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Umm Al Quwain.
