Junior Data Analyst – Data Science Role

About the role

This position is ideal for an early‑career data professional who is eager to apply analytical techniques to real‑world business problems. You will join a fully remote team and contribute to projects across financial services, retail, e‑commerce, logistics, and AI/ML domains. The role offers exposure to both reporting and predictive modeling tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, transform, and analyse data from internal and external sources.
• Use Python, SQL, and statistical methods to answer business and operational questions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and BI solutions.
• Support forecasting, customer segmentation, classification and other predictive analytics initiatives.
• Assist with A/B testing, experimentation, and hypothesis‑driven analysis.
• Develop clear visualisations to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, marketing, and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with datasets and performing EDA.
• Good understanding of statistics, probability and basic data‑analysis concepts.
