Junior Engineer - Procurement

About the role

The Junior Engineer – Procurement will support the timely and effective finalisation of goods and services for allocated projects, ensuring compliance with approved procurement policies and accurate processing of purchase orders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lists of required goods and services, prepare and issue RFQs with complete project documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers to obtain quotations, analyse and compare commercial offers, and highlight deviations to design and project teams.
• Coordinate technical and commercial discussions with suppliers, supporting techno‑commercial comparisons.
• Assist the Procurement Engineer/Category Manager in negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Prepare purchase orders, letters of intent and maintain procurement records in line with company delegation of authority.
• Monitor supplier performance on price, quality and delivery, and report issues to the Procurement Engineer.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in civil engineering (Bachelor preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement for engineering projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement terms and conditions.
• Understanding of contracts and techno‑commercial issues.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
