Junior Front-End Developer (Remote)

About the role

PulseMediaNL is seeking a motivated Junior Front‑End Developer to join its remote team serving healthcare, medical and wellness clients. The role is ideal for an ambitious developer who wants to build modern web experiences, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and grow in a data‑driven digital marketing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user‑friendly websites and landing pages for healthcare and medical clients.
• Transform UI/UX designs into clean, scalable, and reusable front‑end code.
• Support creation of digital marketing assets that improve campaign performance and user engagement.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and project managers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and functionality.
• Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, cross‑browser compatibility and SEO/CRO goals.
• Maintain and enhance WordPress (or similar CMS) sites, including content updates and template adjustments.
• Identify and resolve front‑end bugs, perform testing across browsers and devices.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of front‑end development experience (internships, freelance, academic projects or personal work).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong interest in continuous learning and staying up‑to‑date with front‑end technologies.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Responsive design and mobile‑first development.
• Familiarity with modern front‑end frameworks or libraries such as React or Vue (advantage).
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms (preferred).
• Basic understanding of SEO‑friendly development practices.
• Git and version‑control workflows.
