Junior Nurse

About the role

Joint Space is seeking a Junior Nurse to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. This hands‑on position combines patient‑facing clinical support with day‑to‑day administrative duties in a functional and integrative medicine setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and blood collection, including patient preparation, labelling and proper sample handling.
• Support physicians during consultations, procedures and treatment plans, and assist with IV therapies under supervision.
• Record observations, vital signs, and assist with clinical follow‑up and patient preparation.
• Coordinate laboratory tests, investigations, treatment bookings and follow‑up appointments.
• Handle clinic administration such as patient communication, forms, referrals, scheduling and maintaining accurate EMR documentation.
• Prepare treatment rooms, ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use, and communicate with labs, pharmacies and the clinical team.

Required profile

• DHA‑licensed Registered Nurse with confident phlebotomy skills.
• Early‑career or junior candidates welcomed; functional medicine experience not required.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and administrative abilities.
• Clear verbal and written communication with a professional, patient‑centred approach.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and comfortable working within established protocols.
