About the role
The Junior Procurement Officer will support the procurement function of a leading automotive company in Dubai. The role involves sourcing materials and services, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs)
- Follow up with suppliers on deliveries
- Coordinate procurement requirements with internal departments
- Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation
- Coordinate with stores for inventory replenishment
- Assist with supplier evaluation and cost optimisation
- Support ERP/Odoo procurement activities
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures
- Perform other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- 1‑3 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience
- UAE experience preferred
- Automotive, engineering, manufacturing or industrial experience is an advantage
