Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior QA Engineer with 1–2 years of hands‑on testing experience. You will join a collaborative quality assurance team to help ensure our software applications meet the highest quality standards before release.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and design documents and provide timely feedback.
• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to understand product requirements and verify bug fixes.
• Maintain test plans, test scripts, test data, and produce clear test reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of software QA/testing experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (preferred).
