Junior Script Writer / Copywriter for EU Outreach (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Script Writer / Copywriter to support a EU communication outreach project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role involves creating engaging written content for a variety of digital and print channels, helping to amplify the visibility of EU policies and initiatives in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Draft engaging content for websites, newsletters, articles, press releases and social media.
• Write scripts for videos, podcasts, interviews and other audio‑visual products.
• Develop campaign messages and storytelling tailored to diverse audiences.
• Edit and proofread materials to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with communication specialists, designers and AV teams to produce integrated outputs.
• Adapt content for digital platforms while complying with EU editorial guidelines.
• Support preparation of speeches, briefing notes, key messages and promotional material.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication or languages.
• Excellent written English; French and/or Arabic are an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of general copywriting/journalistic experience.
• At least 1 year of specific experience drafting communication content such as articles, scripts or social posts.
