About the role
The Maintenance Technician in the Technology and Solutions Department provides on‑site and remote maintenance of security system software components. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with client interaction to ensure optimal performance of CCTV, access control, intercom and speed‑gate solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Configure, test and commission CCTV, access control, intercom and speed‑gate systems.
- Design, configure and support high‑availability Windows Server environments for video surveillance, including RAID, storage optimisation and OS hardening.
- Maintain network infrastructure – switches, VLANs, routing and bandwidth optimisation – to guarantee low‑latency video streaming.
- Perform regular system audits, firmware upgrades, backups and patch management.
- Diagnose hardware, software, wiring and connectivity issues; provide Level 2/Level 3 support.
- Deliver on‑site and remote technical assistance, manage maintenance tickets and train clients on system usage.
- Conduct stress, failover and health‑check testing to achieve 99.9% uptime.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, as‑built drawings and performance reports.
Required profile
- Hands‑on technical expertise with security‑system hardware and software.
- Ability to work closely with clients, integrators and internal teams.
- Strong focus on service quality and client satisfaction.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and comply with local regulations.
