Junior Web Developer (PHP / Laravel)

About the role

A growing company in Ajman, UAE is looking for a hands-on web developer with strong PHP and Laravel experience. This is a multi-role position, not purely a development role: the ideal candidate is flexible and willing to support different business functions when required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel
• Build and enhance backend systems and APIs
• Work on new features, bug fixing and performance optimization
• Manage databases and application architecture
• Manage and post content on company social media platforms
• Handle basic accounting tasks such as preparing invoices and tracking expenses
• Coordinate with other company teams and provide general technical and operational support

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Responsible and self-motivated

Required skills

• Good understanding of MySQL and database design
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Bonus: React JS, WordPress or other CMS, basic accounting concepts and social media management experience
