Kafka Developer – Real-time Data Streaming

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Kafka Developer to design, build, and maintain real‑time data streaming solutions on the Confluent platform. You will work closely with engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance pipelines that power our business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Kafka producers, consumers, and streaming applications.
• Implement real‑time processing using Kafka Streams and KSQLDB.
• Build and manage Kafka Connect connectors for system integrations.
• Support UAT testing and ensure smooth production deployments.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Kafka clusters and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform in production.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Apache Kafka / Confluent Platform
• Kafka Streams, KSQLDB, Kafka Connect, Confluent Control Center
• Programming in Java, Python, or Scala
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (optional but a plus)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and distributed system concepts
