Key Account Manager – Utilities

About the role

Lead and develop Siemens Energy’s strategic relationships with major utility customers in the UAE, positioning the company as a trusted long‑term technology and energy partner. The role drives account growth, executive engagement and coordinated delivery of integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies aligned with customer priorities and Siemens Energy’s business objectives.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key decision‑makers across assigned utility accounts.
• Identify and shape business opportunities, leading early engagement for upcoming projects and major investment programmes.
• Collaborate with Siemens Energy’s Business Areas to create customer‑focused, integrated solutions and build a sustainable pipeline.
• Coordinate executive‑level meetings, strategic dialogues, workshops and technology engagements.
• Proactively address customer challenges, ensuring timely resolution and high satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic account management, business development or commercial leadership within the energy sector.
• Proven track record of managing major customer accounts and delivering measurable business growth.
• Strong understanding of the UAE energy sector and experience engaging senior executives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
