Key Accounts Manager – Government Sector (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

The Key Accounts Manager will develop, maintain and strengthen long‑term strategic relationships with UAE government accounts. The role positions Carrier as a trusted partner and global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, delivering value to key public‑sector stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Implement strategic account management and business development plans for government accounts, aligning with business objectives and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with UAE government entities, officials and agencies to identify business opportunities.
• Monitor government policies, regulatory developments and market trends, providing insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Represent Carrier at government meetings, industry events and strategic forums, communicating the company’s capabilities and value proposition.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Legal, HR and other teams to ensure coordinated customer engagement and achievement of commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred); MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in key account management, strategic sales, business development or government relations.
• Proven track record of developing relationships with government entities and managing strategic accounts.
• Strong understanding of the UAE market, government procurement processes and public‑sector business development.
• UAE nationality (UAE Nationals only) and a valid UAE driving licence.

Required skills

• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, presentations, reporting and data analysis.
