Kitchen and Laundry Technician

About the role

The Kitchen and Laundry Technician supports Marriott Al Forsan guests by responding to repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of equipment. The role requires independent problem‑solving and communication with guests and other shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and visual inspections of tools, equipment and machines.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves; use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved programs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. with vocational/technical background.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and Universal CFC certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lb unassisted and perform physical tasks on stairs, ladders and ramps.
