Kitchen & Laundry Technician – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join the engineering team at Anantara Downtown Dubai. You will be responsible for the upkeep of all kitchen and laundry plant equipment, ensuring smooth operation and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment, chillers, air‑conditioning, chilled water systems, pumps and boilers.
• Conduct preventive‑maintenance checks and respond to equipment emergencies on call.
• Ensure HACCP and health & safety legislation records are up‑to‑date.
• Manage energy‑conservation and sustainability initiatives across the property.
• Supervise internal maintenance staff and external contractors, including safety inductions and record keeping.
• Monitor utility readings and support the hotel’s fire team during emergencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 month of relevant experience in hotel engineering or similar environment.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
