Kitchen & Laundry Technician – Dubai

About the role

The Kitchen and Laundry Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all kitchen and laundry plant equipment at Anantara Downtown Dubai, ensuring smooth service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and test kitchen and laundry equipment, chillers, air‑conditioning, chilled water systems, pumps and boilers.
• Repair and service refrigeration units, walk‑in coolers, freezers, ovens and related plant, while logging HACCP and health‑and‑safety records.
• Provide on‑call support for equipment emergencies and carry out preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM) checks.
• Manage air‑conditioning and refrigeration system servicing, and participate in energy‑conservation and sustainability programmes.
• Supervise the maintenance team and external contractors, oversee tool issuance, safety inductions and maintain fire‑team and health‑and‑safety documentation.
• Monitor utility readings to ensure effective power management and stay updated on regulatory and environmental changes.
