Lab Tester & Perfumer Specialist – Arabic Speaking Required

About the role

Dr Scent is seeking a passionate fragrance specialist with strong olfactory skills to join its Head Office in Sharjah. The role combines perfume creation, R&D innovation and laboratory oversight to support the company’s global growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create and refine innovative fragrance formulations from concept to final specifications.
• Oversee laboratory operations, raw material quality control and multi‑site inventory management.
• Research and implement emerging scent technologies such as encapsulation and ActiMoods.
• Engage with key suppliers and clients on bespoke fragrance projects.
• Lead new product launches and deliver technical training to sales teams and international agents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, perfumery or a related field.
• Proven track record as a perfumer with lab/operations experience.
• Highly developed olfactory sense and creative formulation talent.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally.
